Now full repaired and re-staffed this Sovereign Class starship has a mainly scientific mission and is based out of Zetari Station. The Captain and crew have a mission to go where no man has gone before. The Cortez is currently under the command of Captain Anthony Blokpoel and his XO, Lieutenant Commander Benzan Zajac.
